Foundation news

• The Foundation meets each month to review proposals from LGA staff. The meetings are on the second Wednesday of the month from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. To get more information about the meetings, send an email to info@lionsgatefoundation.com.

• Some proposals this year include an outdoor swing and basketball backboard, professional mural installation, archery equipment, PAAWS supplies, climbing wall equipment, guest authors in Language Arts, staff appreciation events, and sign-language interpreters for families for after-school events.

• We highly encourage collaboration for funding requests. Working with other programs with similar interests is desirable. Ask your building lead for ideas about connecting with MTKA, SHRV, LYNX, and AIM staff.

• Be sure to attend Pickin’ for Autism on April 19!
